SEMI S2 evaluations and CE marking, run by engineers who sit down with your designers and work out how to fix what a standard flags. We assess what you have, agree the changes together, and compile the file that has to survive an audit years later.
Portfolio
Our experience includes certifying 50+ pieces of semiconductor equipment, from early design review to final approval, including:

Safety circuits
Safety circuits are at the heart of semiconductor equipment safety, and they are central to our work. We have extensive experience assessing interlock systems and EMO/ESTOP loops. That includes verifying that they reliably bring the equipment to a safe state and that their design meets the required safety integrity.
Testing
We also bring extensive hands-on experience with electrical and ergonomics tests. We use it to help clients set up their test campaigns: defining the scope, the methods, and clear pass criteria, so the results hold up in certification.
Typical deliverables include risk assessments, design recommendations, test plans with defined acceptance criteria, and certification documentation.
What this covers
Readiness assessment against SEMI S2, with S8 and S14 where they apply. We prepare the evidence, sit in the evaluation, and close the findings that come out of it.
The full route to a Declaration of Conformity: applicable legislation identified, conformity assessment chosen, technical file compiled, instructions written.
ISO 12100 risk assessment started early enough to shape the design, maintained as the machine changes, and traceable to each measure taken.
Safety functions specified with a performance level to ISO 13849-1, designed into the circuit rather than retrofitted, then validated on the machine.
EMC and electrical safety testing planned and booked with accredited laboratories, attended on your behalf, with findings turned into design changes.
A fixed-scope review of an existing tool or design against the legislation that will apply on its ship date, returned as a prioritised findings list with effort estimates.
